The Minelab Gold Monster 2000 metal detector is a new model announced at a Minelab dealer meeting in May 2025. The main news of note is it employs a hybrid Multifrequency and PI ground processing technology Minelab is calling Multi-Au. Additionally the Gold Monster 2000 sports a new audio reporting scheme that Minelab is calling Echo Wave. The machine is projected to be available for purchase by October 2025 for US$1999. This is the first simultaneous multi-frequency (SMF) metal detector made specifically for gold nugget prospecting!
