CSA "Georgia" style belt plate. Dug in Shelbyville, Tennessee in one of Braxton Bragg's Winter camps of 1863. Nice green and brown patina gives this plate a camouflage color. This 1863 issue was lost after the Battle of Murfreesboro in one of Bragg's Winter camps along the "Duck River Line." This plate once belonged to a member of the Confederate Army of Tennessee during the high water mark of the western theater.
