We have received many requests for an in-line target probe for the F-75. Now F-75 owners can enjoy the same benefits our quality Sun Ray in-line probes have offered users of previous Fisher models! Here are some of the features of the FX-1:
Fully compatible with the Fisher F-75 model only. The FX-1 is precision built to ensure peak performance. Accurate "bulls eye" pinpointing on coin size targets up to 3" + deep depending on settings, operation modes, ground and moisture conditions! New compact, light weight, waterproof/submersible 6" X 1" diameter probe mounts nicely along arm rest for easy access. FX-1 probe and cable weigh approx. 5 oz. FX-1 switch box, connectors, cable and two probe clips, etc. weigh approx. 5oz. - approx. 10 oz total!
While the FX-1 probe is waterproof the switch box is water resistant and must not be submersed. Installation requires no tools or modifications to the detector. Switch box and probe clips are attached by removable velcro lined clips. The FX-1 incorporates all of the same functions as the stock coil including visual and audible target ID along with identical pinpoint functions! High quality custom made, durable probe and connector cable used for precision performance. Probe incorporates a 30" straight cable with strain relief for "tangle free" operation. They chose to mount the M-6 on an older Classic rod configuration so the present DX-1 connector cable is too short to reach the detector control housing. All DX-1 probes manufactured with serial numbers of 700 or greater will be installed with a longer connector cable (the same as is on the XL-1) which will make it compatible with the DFX, MXT & M-6.
