I also found a shield nickel in a briar patch where i could not fit in with a larger coil.The nickel was down at least five inches. I am very happy with it."
The new Sun Ray Stealth X-5 (5.5inch) coil is waterproof and gives maximum target separation in extremely high ferrous as well as non-ferrous trash conditions! The Stealth X-5 uses the Explorer's circuitry to give even more precise target separation while getting similar if not even more depth than the S-5 coil (Sovereign users). While ground conditions, moisture, type of target, "ground halo" (how long in ground), etc; will play a factor in the results of any coil, we can say we are very impressed so far with the X-5's performance. Even the hottest ground that it was field tested in, the X-5 gave accurate target ID and respectable depth with impressive target separation between non-ferrous and ferrous targets within very close proximity of each other.
