Limited Edition: Battle of Franklin belt buckle

$40.00     Shipping Cost: $9*

Limited edition: Battle of Franklin 125th anniversary belt buckle. I designed these and the Baxendale foundry cast them in bronze. Only 260 were made. The metal alloy contains actual Confederate sabot from their artillery shells (red brass) that I personally dug in Franklin, TN. Each buckle is stamped and numbered and comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity with the matching number and my signature. Certificates explain the symbolism the buckle exhibits in tribute to the 6,252 Confederates that either died or were wounded/missing from that 5 hour blood bath just south of Nashville on the evening of November 30, 1864. Thirteen Confederate Generals were wounded at Franklin, six mortally including General Patrick Cleburne. Known as the "Gettysburg of the west" the battle of Franklin shattered the Army of Tennessee but they continued north into Nashville and fought there two weeks later for two days in December. $40 each plus $9.00 USPS Priority shipping anywhere in the lower 48 States. Outside areas pay actual shipping. NOTE: Serial number shown is an example. Numbers will vary but none over 260.
