RELIC, COIN, BEACH & NUGGET HUNTERS! WHAT WE'VE WANTED FOR YEARS!
Customer comments: "Dave, your recommedation was right on. the Black Widow headphones are the best! the extra sound insulation made a big difference at the beach when hunting the wet sand. Plus, what a difference in sound detail over the 60 ohm Accu-sounds. I hunt by tones in discrim., most of the time and the difference between a bottle cap and a quarter is so clear. It has opened up new realm of using the tones to ID with the sov. I wound up using the 10 inch coil more than the WOT. It was lighter and more stable. I ran the 10" in discrimination with sens about 12. It would false a little at 11 0'clock. What I learned this time is if there was any tone change ( most of the time I left the tone in low iron after a null discrim of iron) and it jumped, I couldn't find even the slightest change in threshold when I investigated. However, if I swithched to all metal, there was always a faint but definite and repeatable target there. I found some old corroded clad and pulltabs, some of which took 4 scoops of a 6" long handle to get to. They were at least 12 inches down and I am sure they were deeper. Didn't get rich but sure had fun. Thanks for the time on the phone you spent with me. I'll be back for more goodies from you. On my list is a straight shaft and I still want to try an S-12 coil.
